Vision

‘To provide sports activity for the personality development of student with the motto, “SPORTS FOR ALL WITH ENJOY” and to prepare physical education leaders of high academic caliber, with a holistic development of body, mind, sprit nurtured with a strong commitment to serve humanity.’

Mission:

1) To train and equip training personal to be fit, intelligent, emotionally stable, social minded, spiritual      enlightened, recreational competent and committed to be the causes of health, physical education,         sports and recreation to be the nation.

2) to make the student to be able to achieve the goal of health and wellness is the quality of on life             style, which has physical mental emotional, social and spiritual aspect.

3) to promote health and wellness with an emphasis on prevention, lifelong learning and knowledge          skill that can be inaugurated into a holistic lifestyle.

4) student will have many opportunities to participant in a variety of activity, which are physically            challenging and mentally stimulating in a wholesome social sound averment.

5) to strive for recognizing health and sports as competent and prepare professional, empowered                lifelong learning and participant in regular physical activity.

Strengths:

• Ideal Gymkhana. The Department has provided outdoor and indoor facilities to the student.
• Well-maintained sports ground and equipment
• Tie-ups with eminent coaches for every sport
• An encouraging and supportive College Administration

Weaknesses:

• Dependence on other institutions for training and practice in water sports, long distance run,100mtr run.
• Most of Students from small village that’s why they not take part in such sports event.

Opportunities:

• Relatively large enrolment in college which brings in diversity in sports interests.

Challenges:

• To integrate academic progress with sport performance for all players
• To make room for sufficient number of events and tournaments
• Adopt the new trends & technique

Future plans of the Department

Plan of action of the department for the next five year :

• To start the certificate courses in Yoga with help of yoga association.
• To increase the awareness of heath in society. (BMI checking)
• To organize Physical Education district Seminar.
• Start intramural competition.

Achievment of the Students :

Ganesh Bhagade : All Indial Inter University Best Physique Championship Body Building got Gold Medal and Trophy.

Pandharinath Bonde : All Indial Inter University Best Physique Championship Body Building got Silver  Medal and Trophy.
