The college started functioning in the academic year 2012-13. The college has started a movement of education in the tribal areas of Igatpuri. The main purpose of college to create awareness among student of higher education and the need of technology in the present era. The college has been established so the students from tribal areas and rural areas are not deprived of higher education. The college has affiliation with the Savitribai Phule Pune University in the year 2012.It has been two programme B. A and B.Com. With able and visionary guidance of the office bearers of the Nashik Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, its hard working, committed staff and needy students, college is making mark in every sphere of academic and extra-curricular aspects of all the stake holders.

As the affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune, Completed all regulations like affiliation , Annual report , Self-Appraisal Report , MIS and AISHE.

            The college has been running various student centric activities. Competitive Examination Guidance, add on     courses, various Certificate Courses, Career Katta, Placement Cell, Life Long Learning and Extension, Soft Skill   Workshop, Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan, National Service Scheme and Bahishal lecture series are among these        activities.

The committees like Women Sexual Harassment Cell, Anti-ragging Cell, Equal Opportunity Cell, Student Grievance Redressal Cell and etc. 

Highlights of the College:  

• The College has registered its name in Limca Book of Record for “Suryanamskar Ek Avishkar” in 2018.
• The College has completed its First NAAC cycle with Grade ‘C’ on the Onsight visit held during 15 & 16 May 2024.  
• The College got Career Katta Award in Career Katta Competition organised by The Maharashtra Information Technology Support Centre (MITSC) in collaboration Maharashtra State Higher and Technical Department in March ,2025.
• Ganesh Bhagade : All India Inter University Best Physique Championship Body Building got Gold Medal and Trophy.
• Pandharinath Bonde : All India Inter University Best Physique Championship Body Building got Silver  Medal and Trophy.

            The college is trying to develop green campus system for environmental conservation and sustainability.
